The Robotic Playground is the demonstration application and tutorial world for the Digital Spaces (DSS) physics-enabled real-time 3D open source platform. The Robotic Playground was developed for the beta release of the platform in November 2007 and is available at the download location below. Find links to source and documentation as well. In the Playground you can drive several vehicles including an excavator, an overhand shovel, a "pincer" pick and life robot, and interact with several objects in the scene including a stack of blocks, balls and transmissive slabs with varying resistive physics.
